Therapy

  • Individual and family therapy is available for children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of presenting concerns, including autism spectrum disorder, disruptive behaviors, ADHD, anxiety, and depression.

  • For young children, therapy often focuses on promoting social communication, encouraging cognitive and play skills, and minimizing disruptive behaviors through evidence-based therapies like Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) or Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).

  • For older children, adolescents, and adults, therapy focuses on identifying effective coping skills and strategies to manage behavioral health diagnoses and life stressors, utilizing well-tested strategies that can have a quick impact on emotions and behavior.

  • All family members are encouraged to participate in therapy, and family education and support is embedded in all aspects of the services provided at Gale Psychological Services.
